DPLAfest 2015 has ended
DPLAfest 2015 took place on April 17-18, 2015 in Indianapolis, bringing together over 300 to discuss everything from technology and development, to (e)books, law, genealogy, and education. The annual DPLAfest celebration will appeal to teachers and students, librarians, archivists, museum professionals, developers and technologists, publishers and authors, genealogists, and members of the public alike who are interested in an engaging mix of interactive workshops, hands-on activities, hackathons, discussions with community leaders and practitioners, and more. The Michigan Service Hub is part of the larger hub network of the Digital Public Library of America. The Service Hub works with cultural institutions throughout the state of Michigan, helping them make their digital collections accessible through the DPLA website.

Previously I was the project manager of the Copyright Review Management System--World project which performed copyright research on works in HathiTrust Digital Library. I am also interested in electronic records in the context of archival collections, and I have a background in the book trade as a former chain-wide book buyer for Borders, Inc.
