Pat Lawton is Digital Projects Librarian for the Catholic Research Resources Alliance (CRRA). Pat manages the primary projects of the CRRA including the Catholic portal and the Catholic Newspapers Program. Based at the University of Notre Dame, Pat also participates in grant writing for the Hesburgh Library. Prior to her tenure at Notre Dame, Pat was a faculty member in the School of Information Science at the University of Pittsburgh and taught cataloging courses online for the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1997-2005. She also served as a librarian in public, academic, and special library settings. Pat holds a BA in English and MLS from Indiana University, and a Ph.D. In Library and Information Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
